Project Overview

Indian Creek Playground is a custom-themed destination that celebrates the Native American heritage of the area while offering adventurous play for children ages 5–12. The design immerses visitors in a cultural landscape where teepee- and dream catcher-inspired climbers, an Algonquian canoe, cornstalk talk tubes, and a handcrafted totem pole spark imagination and role play. Landscape Structures’ PlayBooster® equipment and custom freestanding features encourage climbing, balance, and coordination while weaving storytelling into every play experience. Safety and accessibility are enhanced through Surface America’s PlayBound™ Poured-in-Place surfacing, which provides a colorful, durable, and unitary foundation that ensures reliable fall protection. Together, these elements create an engaging environment where children can develop physical skills, connect socially, and experience cultural learning through play.
